There has been much talk about the surfboard manufacturing industry under immense strain the world over, as the economy continues to spiral and as surfboards continue to be seen by many as luxury items.

One surfboard company that is flourishing under it all is JS Industries, the surfboard manufacturing company that has just picked up a young Mr Smith.

Jordy has been riding the boards for a while now, and has returned to pick up a bunch of 'tractor' surfboards for his 2009 campaign. From all acounts the boards are flying and Jordy has already taken his performance surfing to another level, if that can be believed. As the Quiksilver Pro approaches, and as all the contenders start gathering their boards and their thoughts, Jordy finds himself already in a good place. Boards in order, thoughts in place.
