O'Neil Highland Pro WQS

One of the most popular as well as one of the coldest events on the World Qualifying Series is the O'Neill Highland Pro WQS event, the second event in the 5-event O'Neill Cold Water Classic series.

The event location is the perfect right-hand reef Thurso, in the North of Scotland. Water temperatures get low, like well below 10degrees, and the event is a real chalenge. The contest wave throws some perfect, cold barrels and the natural-footers are at a good advantage at this tricky venue.

The fast right-handers will be perfectly suited to Jordy's style of surfing, and he'll be decked out in the top of the O'Neill range of suits and accessories to keep out the cold. With six-star points on the line at a nice and early stage of the respective world tours, there will be many surfers frothing to get an early points tally.
