O'Neill Cold Water Classic Cape Town

This is the first professional surfing event that Cape Town has seen for a long time, and it is going to receive a hearty welcome from locals, as well as South Africans competing. With the addition of this event the South Africans once again have a decent local tour, and there are bound to be more SA surfers climbing onto the World Tour soon.

Jordy is an often visitor to the Cold Water of the Cape, and has been on a few missions in and around the peninsula as well as up the west coast. He knows that the trcik to surfing in Cape Town is versatility. Big waves, wind, reefs, beaches and tubes all on the same day sometimes. The O'Neill Cold Water Classic is going to use a mobile venue format, so that the contest can go to wherever the waves are best on the day. So expect some cold water and some big barrels.
